there has been an increase in travel due to the lifting of travel restrictions in many international hubs

design strategy

not too much organization, but not too little

complying with TSA regulations gives the user more options for use

a multipurpose bag with all the function needed for a weekend getaway

after identifying competitors, bag reviews were watched to find defining characteristics of each bag

the packing list

the most packed items for short term travel, curated to help design organization and determine the most functional shape

initial ideation : silhouette exploration

an exploration of the overall bag silhouette, taking design queues from past products

choosing 3 concepts to more closely compare them

after choosing a silhouette, i began exploring interior organization and other features to finalize the design
